Abstract :
The paper presents the results of theoretical and experimental studies of multi-speed turbulent electron beams. Theoretical and experimental studies of the structure of such beams were considered. Various methods of forming a multi-speed electron beams were considered. It is shown that these electron beams generated turbulence, which leads to the emergence of multiple bunches of space charge, which are sources of broadband noise-like oscillations. The results of experimental research of laboratory model of small-sized generator, which is based on the principles of the formation and use of multi-speed turbulent electron beams, were shown.
