Abstract :
Electrically small LP and CP near-field, self-resonant, parasitic (NFRP) antennas were proposed. The NFRP antennas were demonstrated to be nearly completely matched to an assumed 50Ω source and have high overall efficiencies. The planar electrically small CP antenna achieved good |S11l values and an acceptable axial ratio at GPS L1 along one main beam direction. Completely symmetric designs have been achieved and will be presented.
