Abstract :
This paper discusses the model aerodynamic facility that has a function of creating short duration supersonic or hypersonic gas flow that suits many types of aerodynamic and aerophysical research. This facility can be used for aerodynamic problem investigations, which involve proper values of Mach and Reynolds number, to tryout new measurement methods in high-speed flows. The application of this tool (device) has especially effective sense when preliminary (previous) or searching investigations are provided in small research groups. The facility for realization of scientific researches and training of the students was created. Experimental results were used to check the physical and mathematical models required for calculation of the complex outside and interior flows to obtain the quantitative assessment of possible computing errors to verify the codes of calculation and determination of their usage areas.
