Abstract :
The author describes the ISDN services in general and discusses an ICL (International Computers Ltd.) application called DeskTop Conferencing which is the ability to see digital information relating to the subject of one´s conversation. The DeskTop Conferencing package upgrades a standard personal computer into an ISDN workstation capable of business and administrative functions. He also describes some of the pressures in global markets which will stimulate the use of ISDN technology
