Abstract :
A novel method for amplitude-phase error assessment for four-port microwave network complex transmission and reflection coefficient measurement devices is proposed. The core of this method lies in the idea that amplitude dynamic range of a microwave network analyzer could be divided by equal amplitude sub-ranges, afterwards the complex amplification coefficients in each sub-range are measured, and after all the quantities are compared with ideal complex quantities in amplitude and phase.
