  • Abstract
    In this paper, a new pattern fitting method is proposed for wind direction estimation from OTH (Over The Horizon) radar backscatter measurements using hyperbolic secant squared function. The algorithm is verified in an HF radar (WERA, WEllen RAdar) field test at Fedje in Norway during EuroROSE project.
