Abstract :
The computation of the positioning and launching parameters wrt time, for missile system is done by the interface unit called Intercept missile unit (IMU) controlled by computer. When the trajectory is simulated using six degree of freedom to estimate the velocity and location at any instant, this simulation helps in estimation of position coordinates (x, y, z) & angular rotations φ, θ, ø w.r.t time. Aim of this paper is to calculate accurate parameters in computation of trajectory estimation. This proposed algorithm is applicable for Pre-selected range technique. The computed parameters help in deciding kinetic energy to missile for correct hit to target. The proposed simulation were implemented with the experimented data generated for missile having approximate 5 ft diameter with initial power 900ft/s. Apart of this a comparative analysis of proposed simulation with already existing simulations is shown in Table I. Actual developed GUI is shown Fig. 3, which give a clear idea about the merit of this approach. So, this investigation helps to determine the trajectory arcs for missile to hit target accurately.
