Abstract :
This paper introduces the important significance of fingerprint image segmentation, analyzes some traditional fingerprint image segmentation algorithm about their advantages and disadvantages, and proposes an improved fingerprint image segmentation algorithm, making the fingerprint image with low gray level in the majority to get effective segmentation, which has strong robustness.
