  • Abstract
    With the rapid development of mobile communication technology, the continued expansion of multimedia applications, and the multi-mode multi-band requirements of global communications, the cost and the size of mobile phone design have become an important research. This paper gives the current mainstream schemes to realize WCDMA and GSM dual-mode phone frequency radio architecture with single-pole nine-throw (SP9T) antenna switch. And, new frequency radio architecture with single-pole four-throw (SP4T) antenna switch is proposed in this paper to achieve the same function. By choosing the appropriate frequency radio devices and configurations, the proposed scheme reduces the cost and the size of components, and enhances the competitiveness with similar products.
