Abstract :
This paper proposes a DHT-based namespace solution for a Grid system-Virtual Organization File System(VOFS). Different from previous version of VOFS, this solution doesn´t demand complete namespace metadata be stored in all peers. By using peer-to-peer Chord, specified peers are chosen for storing specified namespace of resource.
