A Method to Evaluate Security Performance of Mobile Agent System

The security performance of mobile agent system has an important influence on the real applications. This paper gives a new idea of "enough security" fitting to real application, proposes an integrated security architecture based on component technology, comes up with a security performance evaluation framework, defines a set of metrics and offers a method to realize the measurement and evaluation of security level of mobile agent platform. The main intention of this work is to provide a scaleable security environment and a chosen security grade for mobile agents in real applications according to their real and different security requirements
