Abstract
A number of mathematical properties with respect to higher order statistics are highlighted to clarify the reasons for the trend of growing interest of the signal processing community towards the research field. To underline the tutorial aspects, the basic (operational) definitions, some of the current signal processing areas, as well as some basic estimation issues are addressed
