Abstract :
This paper reports on an exploration to introduce the rough set theory into the analysis of step response performance of networked control systems with time delays. A decision table is established based on the experimental results of networked control systems with different time delays. Two reductions and one core are obtained through the reduction of attributes in the decision table. Then, we get the main results that system performance not only depends on the sum of time delays but also the proportion of time delay between controller and actuator which is more important. Finally, the results are validated by simulation of the NCS via Matlab.
