Abstract :
New DRA geometries have been explored to design hybrid type monopole-DRA to achieve improved ultra-wide bandwidth. Both simulated and measured results have been provided indicating as much as 20% extra impedance bandwidth compared with the previous designs and also consistent monopole-like radiations over the entire bandwidth.
