Abstract
A hand-free telephone set working out of line feeding (from at least 17 mA) has been realized using a 2 chips+uP arrangement. The line interface is realized in bipolar technology and the voice processor is realized in CMOS technology with S.C. techniques. The adopted approach allows for an extreme flexibility on gain, filter response time response and uses few external passive components to be placed on the line interface only.
