Abstract

In this paper we have designed and implemented a method for finding and presenting profile of researchers comprising academic and personal detail. Data is extracted from web considering various websites which includes social networking sites (LinkedIn in our case), IEEE, iete, springer, cse and many more. After extraction, data from all these sites is fused so that desired result can be interpreted with minimal ambiguity and repetition. It is the formal way to find the relevant data from web and then merge them logically. This model also defines various constraints including topic, location, affiliation etc. so that location or topic specific researchers list can be generated with their profiles. Online Profile Maker extracts information about academicians from different websites and provides results based upon the name entered and the area to which the academicians belong. It can be of great use while organizing a conference or a seminar in which the profile of academicians can be extracted belonging to a particular area.
