            Abstract : 
This thesis brings forward to a resolution of embedded remote surveillance based on the demand of reality. The system is centering on the embedded Linux and S3C2410, and basing on the Wi-Fi network to build the embedded remote surveillance, which can capture video signal from USB digital camera and transport the signal to client through Wi-Fi network. The way of remote surveillance based on Wi-Fi network makes the traditional way trend toward digitalization, networking and intelligence.
