A Domain Ontology Construction Method Towards Healthy Housing

Ontology construction can allow users or agents of software to arrive at consistent views about organization structure of information, even improve the reusability in the professional fields. However, because of the differences between domains, there is no existing technical route as the standard method for ontology construction at the present time. This paper offers an improved ontology construction method MADRE. This method uses graphic language to explicit represent domain knowledge for research domain. Moreover, it verifies correctness of ontology construction on relation and hierarchy in the phase of ontology evaluation. By applying domain ontology to healthy housing field, it solves the problems of computer applications on healthy housing, such as lack of semantic expression and understanding of expert knowledge. Meanwhile, it realizes the semantic standardization of computer applications in this field.
