Abstract :
Hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) is becoming the important develop tendency of the vehicle for its better fuel economy and emission. And design and implementation of energy control strategy become one of the most important problems of the HEV. A fuzzy control hybrid electric vehicle model is created using CRUISE and Matlab in this paper. For improving the fuel consumption and reducing emissions, the parameters of fuzzy control is optimized by the genetic algorithm. The results demonstrated that the fuzzy control strategy could improve the fuel consumption and reduce emissions efficiency. And by using genetic algorithm to improve the parameters of fuzzy controller, show the greatest advantage of the fuzzy control strategy in controlling the hybrid electric vehicle, and further improve the fuel consumption and reduce emissions.
