Abstract
The paper treats the brief review of the passive sonar signal statistical detection in the presence of deep-sea ambient noise. It is assumed that the signal is stochastic process. Also it is assumed that the deep-sea ambient noise is stochastic process too. The Neyman-Pearson optimal statistical criterion of the Bayes family of likelihood ratio tests is used. The principle schemes of the optimal receivers are considered.
