  • Abstract
Fuzzy logic applied to mineral potential prediction, providing a powerful and flexible theoretical framework for dealing with multi-layer modeling. This research is identified the similarity between the distribution mode of the known ores and the forecasting mode of comprehensive variables. The choice of fuzzy operator γ should be paid special attention to, the small change of the result would have a huge impact, and constant trying must be carried out, to reach the best prediction.Fuzzy logic method, because of the subjective degree of membership, leads to high predictions. Moreover, from the results of the forecast maps, obvious manifestation of the hierarchical nature of the evidence is shown, which also increases the uncertainties of the final decision. The procedure of mineral prediction using fuzzy logic is mainly an input fuzzy variables, explicitly, the input variables transfer into fuzzy sets described by degree of membership and the application of a fuzzy operator, integrated fuzzy sets.
