Abstract
In this paper, we present two simulation cases of directive antenna design in a cut-wire array. The first case employs a Woodyard-Hansen array to achieve high directivity by coupling the antenna radiation into the surface wave propagation mechanism. The second case studies the deployment of a closely-spaced Yagi antenna reported earlier in in the cut-wire array.
