Abstract
Presents a brief description of the salient features of rain rate and rain cells extension over India. The results of rainfall distribution can be used to predict attenuation over terrestrial and Earth space paths in any of the zones described. An important character over India is the large variability of rain fall rate caused due to different topographical features
