  • Abstract
An interference calculation method, referred to as the link isolation method, is proposed and discussed. The method is suitable for determining the need for detailed coordination during the intersystem coordination process. The main feature of this method is that once a table of required carrier isolations is developed, network operators are required to furnish only those items of information that are relevant to the major link design of networks. No carrier operating parameters are required. The use of this method could thus reduce the amount of information to be exchanged and the amount of computation required during intersystem coordination
