Abstract :
Panchromatic Remote-sensing Instrument for Stereo Mapping (PRISM) carried by Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS) was designed to generate worldwide topographic data with its high resolution and stereoscopic observation. According to this aim, we developed the software of generating Digital Surface Model (DSM) data. Following the accumulations of PRISM stereoscopic observation data during over five year operations, the capabilities of the matching-algorithm for stereo images, as well as the characteristics of processed DSMs, were widely validated. This paper reports on the latest validation results, archiving status, and the mosaicking results of the DSM.
