Abstract :
In this paper, a systematic approach for controlling the received and scattered powers by adjusting the load impedance is presented for a dipole array. For a normally incident plane wave illumination, various receiving and scattering conditions are identified in terms of the scattered plane wave amplitude. Any desired value for the scattered field amplitude is translated into a load condition. The design technique is validated numerically using a method of moments (MoM) analysis.
