Abstract :
In this paper the bandstop properties of a miniaturized-element frequency selective surface which was previously used as a bandpass FSS is investigated. The possibility of increasing the bandwidth of the FSS with restrictions on its opacity is discussed. The FSS is further modified to be used specifically for bandstop purposes with opacity restrictions.
