Abstract
Actuator failures are inevitable in practice especially in complex systems. Some controllers based on adaptive control approaches have been proposed to address this problem in recent years. Compared with the existing results for system with unknown actuator failures, the external disturbances are considered in our control plant and the stability of closed loop system and output tracking performance can be guaranteed by using the estimation of the upbound of uncertainties caused by actuator failures.
