Abstract :
A planar C-shaped monopole antenna with multi-band operation for WiMAX system has been proposed and investigated. It provides relatively wider impedance bandwidth of 201/330/1195 MHz for 2.6/3.5/5.5 GHz band, respectively. The proposed planar monopole antenna also provides the omni-directional radiation patterns with maximum peak antenna gain and radiation efficiency of 3.3/2.6/6.4 dBi and 82/66/90 % across the operating bands.
