Abstract :
A metal strip-embedded slot bowtie antenna has been presented. By embedding metal strips to the arms of the slot bowtie, dual/multi-band characteristics can be realized. Simulation and measurement results have shown that the proposed antenna have good impedance matching characteristics in multiple operating bands. The prototype antenna based on this paper satisfies the requirements of the Wi-Fi (2.4, 3.5, and 5 GHz) and WiMAX (2.4, 3.5, and 5 GHz) applications.
