Abstract :
Summary form only given. It is known that a product of the low-temperature pirolytic decomposition of polyacrylonitril (PAN) - piroPAN - has a structure of frothed carbon and possesses a sufficient heterogeneity. We have found that, using ultrasonic cavitation techniue, it is possible to produce a steady material consisted of piroPAN with micro-particles of magnetic metals (Fe) dispersed on carbon surface. The micro-particles have sizes from 100 up to 1000 A. Such complex structure is possessed both electrical conductivity and ferromagnetic properties. That´s why it is convivient to use it for forming composite materals which are active to electromagnetic field in a wide region of frequences. It have been carried out measurements of the electrophysical properties of modified piroPAN and composite materials based on it: dc,ac conductivity, static magnetic properties, microvave investigation (permittivity, magnetic permeability). The resi ilts of the investigations show a high efficiency of using modified PAN as active element of electromagnetic shield materials.
