Abstract :
By introducing the concept of distinct wave propagation vector (DWPV), new expressions of modeling incident wave with spherical wavefront are derived. Formulations of near-field IPO (NFIPO) and near-field IPO with impedance boundary condition (NFIPO-IBC) are proposed and applied to the near-field scattering prediction for perfect electric conducting (PEC) and dielectric coated objects, respectively.
