Abstract :
In this paper, we propose an FSS based on a double split ring resonator (DSRR). The DSRR FSS has better skirt characteristic than the conventional strip FSS. By appropriately adjusting the gap and line width, the resonant frequency and skirt characteristic can be adjusted. To validate the FSS characteristics, an L probe patch antenna for CDMA was designed. The gains with and without FSS were compared. For the circuit and 3D simulations, ADS and CST MWS were used.
