Abstract :
A small-size coupled-fed printed PIFA to cover all the eight operating bands of the LTE/GSM/UMTS (698-960/1710-2690 MHz) in the mobile phone has been proposed. Good radiation characteristics over the eight operating bands have also been obtained. Owing to its all printing structure and uniplanar configuration, the proposed antenna is especially suitable for application in the slim mobile phone.
