Abstract :
In this paper, a multi-band antenna with coupling structure for a mobile handset is proposed. The proposed antenna occupies small volume of 0.85cm (=40mmx3mm><;7mm) although the antenna operates in tri-band. Dielectric substance which has relative permittivity (εr) of 3 is used to support metal structures. The proposed antenna is easy to be fabricated and suitable for mass production process with low profile and multi-band operation.
