Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a novel 3-stacked meander line antenna with open-ended and short-ended structure using multi-layered organic substrate. Return loss, radiation pattern, and actual gain were evaluated. As a result, maximum actual gain of -4.8 dBi at 5.28 GHz for open-ended type, and -3.4 dBi at 5.18 GHz for short-ended type were measured. Finally, we showed the 3-stacked MLA has enough potential being used as a 5-GHz band small antenna.
