Abstract :
In the HbbTV specification, high precision hybrid inter-media synchronization is still an uncovered topic. In this paper we propose a new synchronization mechanism, which provides frame accurate synchronization for media from hybrid sources, like DVB and IP. Our solution is flexible in its application, as it can handle all kinds of audio/video content, and it is easy to implement in terms of solution complexity.
