Abstract :
This paper presented the concept for an interleaved configuration for a Van Atta retroreflector array for increased beamwidths at broadside. Antenna theory was used to establish a working model to predict the behavior of the entire interconnected array. Agreement is demonstrated between measurement and simulation results for the individual linear arrays along with the entire fabricated retro-reflective structure.
