Abstract :
The meteo radars cover large regions and can produce mutual interference. The electromagnetic compatibility [EMC] of meteo radars is a very important and complex problem. The problems of usage of pseudo random signals with rectangular envelope in meteoradars were considered at [1-6]. The pseudo random signals are very effective and they have high efficiency due to usage of matching filtration in meteo radars. Main problem of the meteo radars with good EMS it is to provide as a small level of side lobes (SLL) of a correlation function (CF) and as a small level of a spectrum in frequency domain. As a rule, such request is contradictory. Essential improvement of EMS of the meteo radars is possible, if to use an amplitude modulation of emitting pseudo random signals [1]. To-day, there are power amplifiers at output of a transmitter with linear amplitude characteristics: the travelling wave tube and the klystron. For these devices it is possible to use amplitude modulation in a transmitter. Some results for usage of a chirp signal together with different weight windows are presented in this article. All results are considered for digital generation and digital compression signals. In all cases the matching filtration is used.
