  • Abstract
During the process of urban distribution, travel time delay of a route will often lead to the infeasibility of the initial distribution schedule. Focused on this problem, disruption management methodology is applied, and a disruption measurement method is presented, which takes customer unsatisfied index, deviation from the original transport network, and transport cost into considerations. In order to deal with the disruption events, such as traffic jams, accidents, and alterations of road conditions, that occurs in vehicle routing problems with time windows and prevents the initial schedule from being successfully executed, a mathematic model is constructed along with its genetic algorithm. The validity of the model and its genetic algorithm is proved by experiments. Results of the experiments show that the model´s multiple objectives can be met simultaneously according to the disruption evaluation criterions.
