Abstract
The paper discusses B. Cambourne´s (1988; 1995) “Conditions of Learning” from an engineering perspective. Examples of how these conditions translate in an engineering environment are presented. Based on the author´s experience, when these conditions are met in engineering classes, the learning process of the students as well as their enjoyment and appreciation of the subject are greatly enhanced
