Abstract
This work describes the derivation of a state-space formulation for a novel variant of the finite-volume technique. The state-space model is intended to be used in model order reduction (MOR) schemes, which are expected to drastically boost the performance of the method. As a proof of validity of the generated models, a frequency-domain solution of an H-plane discontinuity in a rectangular waveguide is compared to a time-domain solution
