Abstract :
In this paper, constrained interpolation profile (CIP) method is applied to Maxwell´s equation and the validity of CIP method applied to the equation is confirmed compared with the FDTD method. And as the one of its application, the dependency on CFL (Courant-Friedrich-Lewy) condition and the finite difference accuracy of non advection equation of the absorbing characteristics of one-layer EM-absorber are calculated using CIP method. As a result, it is confirmed that the accuracy of CIP method has a large dependency upon CFL condition and when the value (CFL) is 0.253, the best accuracy is obtained in the absorption characteristics calculation
