Abstract :
The talk presents a graphical framework for designing and configuring model predictive control applications. This predictive control toolkit developed for LabVIEW contains linear as well as nonlinear predictive control methods. The toolkit is tightly integrated with LabVIEW system identification, control design toolkits and the simulation module for design verification and deployment. The control solutions can be easily imported to a real time platform for industrial applications. Linear and nonlinear predictive control strategies are presented in details and the performances are illustrated in various case studies
