Abstract :
The reverse band operation of feeder links for a non-GSO mobile satellite service (MSS) system is considered to be one of viable methods in sharing frequency bands with a GSO fixed satellite service (FSS) system. In this operation, the up and down link frequency bands of a non-GSO MSS system use the down and up link frequency bands of a GSO FSS system. The paper describes interference characteristics between a non-GSO MSS gateway station and a GSO FSS earth station, under the implementation of reverse band operation
