Abstract
Power dissipation is a limiting factor for the integration of GaAs digital ICs. This paper presents a new single-ended low-power high-speed logic family called PCFL3. Measurement results on a ring oscillator are reported The current consumption of an inverter is reduced by about 50% compared to the DCFL and the speed is increased by about 50%.
