Abstract :
To make autonomous parking possible, a profound understanding of the vehicle´s surroundings is required. For this purpose a scene representation by labeled objects is beneficial. This work presents a rotation-invariant detector and classifier of parked vehicles using radar data. The radar data is accumulated over time in grid maps, possible objects are extracted and finally a deep neural network is used to classify vehicle objects.
