Abstract
The plasma profile inside a semiconductor excited with optical illumination is analyzed. The effects of wafer characteristics on carrier density are considered. A model for the plasma profile inside the semiconductor is presented and the effect of semiconductor thickness on plasma depth and conductivity has been evaluated.
