Abstract :
This paper describes the architecture and design considerations for a high performance millimetric front end for the Tarsierreg T1100 runway debris monitoring system radar. Tarsier T1100 is a FMCW radar dedicated for the detection of very small debris on airport runways and has been designed with no compromise in performance. Measured results are presented for different environmental scenarios and their impact on the various performance parameters of the front-end is discussed
