Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows. Pyrolysis of perylene tetracarboxylic dianhydride in a high vacuum gave carbon films. We prepared a free standing stable film of high electrical conductivity by pyrolytic methods. The reflection spectra, the electrical conductivity and the X ray diffraction were measured and were compared with the previous results.l12) The temperature dependence of conductivity showed a semiconductive behavior. The reflection spectra resembled to that of the (001) face of graphite, while the X-ray diffraction pattern were different from that of pyrolytic graphite.
